I’m a Clio and Emmy Award-winning writer who was born and raised in New Rochelle, New York, where I grew up on a steady diet of primetime soaps and slasher films.

I’m based in Los Angeles, where I most recently served as a copywriter and the Director of Creative Services at marketing content studio Known Global (f.k.a. Stun Creative). My work as an entertainment and travel journalist has appeared in Bello Mag, Instinct, HuffPost, Medium, ScreenPicks, and Hotter in Hollywood – for which I was the Executive Editor during its 9-year run – earning me guest stints on the pop culture podcast circuit.

I also spent several years at world-renowned production companies such as Carsey-Werner and Anonymous Content while freelancing as a treatment writer for a roster of reputable directors and as a producer of short films and various projects for 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. In 2023, I was proud to receive the Mission Award in Patient Support for my fundraising efforts with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

CURRENT OBSESSIONS (besides horror films): Heartstopper, Black Doves, and revisiting vintage faves like Clue and The Golden Girls while curating quarterly playlists of new music on Spotify. My vices include chocolate chip cookies and movie theater popcorn. Insta-stalk me @TheFirstEcho.
