A little bit about me…
I’m a Clio and Emmy® Award-winning writer who grew up on a steady diet of primetime soaps, R.L. Stine novels, and slasher films.
My Spotify “listening age” is 19 – even though I was born in the late 1900s. I believe in the power of empathy, especially in a world that needs more of it. I’m an active member of the Bookstagram community (@FearStreetDiaries). And my blood type is Vanilla Cold Brew.
I spent nearly a decade at marketing content studio Known as a copywriter and Director of Creative Services, scripting TV commercials and developing voices and narratives for culture-shifting brands.
My work as an essayist and pop culture and travel journalist has appeared in Mashable, Bello Mag, Instinct, HuffPost, Medium, ScreenPicks, The Humber Literary Review, and Hotter in Hollywood, for which I was the Executive Editor during its 9-year run online.
In 2023, I was the recipient of the Mission Award for my campaign efforts with Blood Cancer United. And I have recently finished my debut thriller novel, The Final Boy, which has been called “instantly propulsive” by The Black List.
